Well never seen a WAL with a bluish gray color before. Also the patterns are unusual too.

wow...simply an amazing lungfish.

But a combo of fish waiting to go wrong.
lung and aba knife in one tank ...

can this be a result of some sort of medicine in the water?
Maybe I'm wrong but are there also small blue colorations on some of the other fish?
(blue coloration near the mouth)

No I don't use any medication or chemicals. I just let it go natural. This lungfish will go to 180g tank by itself on December.

This coloration is probably a result of captive breeding. Maybe the pigmentation mutated to this color.

No worries I have kept an 3 feet long aba aba with other fish before back in Asian and it won't bother other fish as long there are more fish in the tank. It was mixed with aros, gars, snakehead and bichirs. The only fish it hates the most are cichlids.

That's good to hear, for how long have you kept this blue lungfish?

About a 15 months but never did took any pics of it as I thought it was normal for a juvie WAL to have that blueish color till it grew to 17-18" and it got even more darker and developed a blotchy patterns as well.

looks great
