Actually thats from my last complete water change. Once a year I do a complete water change and move the fish to the bathtub. And no matter how gentle I am and which net I use there is a loss of some scales. Plus trying to handle a 16in fish like this is quiet the challenge in itself

Nice collection you have there but why do you prefer to remove the fish and do this complete water change?

Becasue it has been my experience with large fish, over time and no matter how many water changes and rock vaccums you do there is still a lot of dirt that never come out. So once a year a complete water change and rock removal and cleaning scrub down I do. I guess y ou can cal it s spring cleaning in the winter...
