I thought being in a 10g would stunt his growth but he has not been affected i bought him at around 7inch and that was 1 and a half months ago and he is now 11inchs :D :WHOA: Fast growth in such a small tank. i can't wait till i get the money for my old gamecube 85$ and then i can buy him a 60g :woot: :woot:
 
wow, 4 inches in about a month is realy fast grow.

you must have been feeding him very well and keeping the water in top condition.
 
At that rate, he will out grow the 60g in no time flat. maybe time to look for a used big tank? i'll keep my eyes open and let you know if i find something :)

All i feed him is freezed dried krill 2 or 3 times a day and feeder fish about 2 or 3 times a week most of the time 2 but this week i have feed hime one more time just cause i ran out of freeze dried krill i am gana try and get him to eat froze krill cubes right now so i hope he tanks that more protein. I have 2 filter running on the tank that were meant for a 10 so i got great filtration for it :D

I already sold the game cube srry. it was to my best friend i am just waiting for the 75$ for it and the 10$ he owes me

Thx i hope to get a 240g later on but i don't have 1000$ but im still looking. i hope to get a job soon to help pay for it but it is hard to find a job that will hire a 16yr old :swear:

Keep your eye open for used stuff.....there are awesome deals out there, you just have to look. I got my 300 gallon with a massive wet dry filter for 150 bones. keep an eye on the local paper, ebay, MFK (!), rummage sales, and estate sales. you WILL have a monster tank soon just keep looking :D if you cant find anything, then maybe the 60 will buy you enough time to get something.. goodluck with whatever you find!

wow. 16 yrs old and already you're keeping arowanas. that's cool. i didn't start untill i was 28.

Are tanks actually good to buy used????? couldn't they sometimes be cracked or weak from stress of people moving it wrong?????? My friend has had 2 or 3 60g just up and shatter on him :WHOA:
