My Aro hurt itself always

My Aro always hurt itself~
I think my Aro dosnt like to stay in dark, everyday in the morning~ I gotta check it~ and few days ago~ 2 scales came off. I am not sure dose it feel hurt or not but i am sure i feel so hurt~

I think so~ but his room mate is about 3/5~ 2/5 of his size~
it is his room mate......

yup!!! i know what you mean it always happen to my JAR. but just make sure to monitor the wound make sure that's theres no infection....just make your water pristine up your temp about 86 degrees and feed em a lot of nutritious food and his/her scale will comeback in no time!!!!

sometimes a dat just by moving as fast as they do scare the aros, but don't worrie, the aro will get use to the dat. or get more dats, it gets use to them faster

total darkness scares aros sometimes specially when young.
try leaving a little lamp open.

yup..i turn on a little bit of light for him...now is better, not scare his roomate at all, and the color has come back again....the missing scales became better. he always swimming around now

yeh i used to have the sam problem as you. just make sure ure tank isnt anywhere particularly bright, dark or noisy. the slightest noise can make ure arow jump and lose scales. plus even wen ure feeding, dont make fast movements with ure arms. just chillax and ure arowana will react accordingly. as it gets older it will gain confidence and not be so sensitive.
