I lost my 2 year old 23 inch silver aro about 6 months ago and haven't been able to get over not knowing what happened. I did a water change, exactly how they had always been done and about an hour later he was struggling to keep his head down and would fight being vertical. He would force his head down to get horiziontal but then he would go back vertical. I checked all water parameters and everything else and nothing was wrong. The other fish in the tank were just fine also. After about 2 hours he got tired of fighting. I removed him and tried to treat but he just didnt make it through the night.
ANY IDEAS????
btw: i have a 440 gallon with drip systyem, constant water change so when i do big water change its only like 20%
