hey you all arowana experts..i need feed back on my aro not eating but just scanning the top of the water back and forth.is there any concerns i should be aware of.did a 30% clean on the water,no sores on skin or any disease that i have looked for.no distended stomach suspecting any rocks he ate.so let me know you all.

Hi.. can you please give some more details.. size of your tank, filtration, size of the aro, any tankmates, water parameters(not good or bad or fine.. specific numbers on ammonia, nitrates and nitrites) if possible could you post pics of your setup.. cheers :)

How long has it not been eating? I would check the water first. Also have you tried crickets?my silver stopped eating for almost 2 months for no reason but I gave him crickets one day and now he is back to normal eating his pellets.I wouldn't worry at all if you don't see anything wrong with it and it hasn't been more than a month without food.

I used freeze dried krill to get mine eating and it did the trick. Check your water and any changes you may have done in the tank. Aros don't like change....

240 g and 3 filtrations(eheim, fluval,ac)it hasnt been a month yet a couple of days now,but yeah it has been scanning the top mostly and back and forth around the tank.sometimes sits in front of the fluval output and just catches its flow there.

I wouldn't worry about just a few days . Try to get him a treat like some small crickets it might just snap him out of his funk.

Sorry for your lost man, I feel empty as well. I sold my 3 22" silver aros this week.
