My Arowana has this white/yellowish things on his one side and tail. I firstly thought that it may be yellow cysits, but are not entirely shure. There is nothing wrong with his feeding habits and his behaviour is also normal. Please advise... I tried to upload photos, but someting is not lekker.

Hi. Ph 6 - 6.5, Temp:24 - 27 deg C . 66 us galon/250l tank. External canister filter - 336 us galon/hour / 1275l/hour. Tank mates: Red tail cat fish, Polypetrus, Pesocostumus, Red tail shark.

thats a ton of bioload for a 66g tank. and you never listed your ammonia or nitrate readings... by the specs of your filter (which are always exaggerated), you're getting 5x turnover rate MAX. you need to probably triple that AND upgrade to keep such fast growing monsters healthy...

Your PH is too low. Adding about 2 pounds of crushed coral will help maintain the PH better. Also you need to vacuum the gravel on a regular basis and water change at least every other week. I do a weekly water change on mines and never have any problems. My fish had a similar issue and it was due to lack of water change and over feeding. Good Luck.

could be amonia burn, that is extremely heavy for a small tiny tank like that. i suggest reduce stock, enlarge tank, increase filtration. Measure water params, my bet is it will improve with good water changes and good filtration. THen your fish will become lekker
