My Golden Crossback Arowana looks at me and starts to rapidly swim at me only. When ever anyone else watches the Arowana, he acts calm and swims normally. But, if the Arowana sees me, he swims to me as best as he can to the point were he stops swimming around and stares at me. He lives in a 200 gallon aquarium, in 30 celsius water.

He recognizes who feeds him lol.

Quick question and curious, I recently bought 2 silver arowana around 5 inches and are kept in a 75 gallon tank on their own just for a short time being, I've had them 3 days and fed them 6 crickets every day, the one began to swim around the middle of the tank when I got home... is this a early sign of overfeeding or just his curiosity of the tank?

It's curious of more crickets like I stated earlier and apologize for derailing once fish are comfortable and recognize who feeds them they will react when you approach the aquarium.

he sees me he sees food, the hungrier he is the harder he will wag his tail at me....

talking about my arowana .... not a dog :)

same goes for cichlids.... every evening when i am back they will all gather at the edge of the tank waiting for me to feed them..... exactly like how koi gather....
