I bought a young silver arowana about 3 weeks ago and he's in my 75 gallon tank at the moment (Don't worry, I'm planning on getting a larger tank eventually!). I've been giving him freeze dried and frozen krill to eat but today he wouldn't eat. I'm not sure what the problem is!

My arow does the something. Try and feed the arow every other day. It seams to work out for me.

Just didn't eat for one day? If its just day he didn't eat I wouldn't worry about it. Don't feed him tomorrow then on Friday he'll he nice and hungry

variety of food will help

If he just stops eating for one day, theres nothing to worry about. Its also better to have a variety of foods.

Another thing that I should say is that he's been kind of sluggish lately. I'm not sure what this means either, but could his inactive-ness be related to his loss of appetite?

What temp do you keep your tank at? And do you only feed krill?

The temps at around 82, and I feed mostly krill, yes. What's another recommended food for a 5-6 in. aro?

At that size you can start feeding pellets.
