About a month ago i bought a silver aro and ckf to replace my wolf fish that committed suicide on my carpet. Anyway he wasnt realy eating well. He would feed but it wasn't the voracious feeding i've seen in videos and read about. Well the other day i bought some calamari (fancy name for squid) and smelt to feed my fish. I cut up the squid an my aro went nuts. He hit about 4 pieces in a row:headbang2 :headbang2 . Today he did the same thing with the smelt:thumbsup: . I never really worried about him cuz he would eat :thumbsup: but this is great!!!!:mwave:

Thats great that its eating alot now, but its going to become expensive if you dont get it to start excepting pellets! lol
 
Meat makes a great treat for aros, but pellets are alot healthier and will give the fish better colors. I would still feed meat to add variety though
 
He gets krill, black worms,blood worms,pellets, aro sticks, and food sticks etc. But the squid and smelt make him go nuts!!! may try guppies just for a treat.
