Can't help on the meat side of things,
But starving them off the meats is the way to go. Eventually they will accept what you put in the tank.

I don't think this is a healthy diet for your fish. I know that feeding beefheart to discus is a controversial practice- breeders like it because of the very high protein which causes the fish to grow faster- but supposedly, the mammalian lipids are bad for the digestion of the fish. I believe they congeal at tropical temperatures and can clog up a fish's system. I am not an expert on this, this is what I have read.
RD. RD. would be a good person to ask on this

This video may help you. I personally think feeding it seafood (tilapia, shrimp, scallops, etc. as long as isn't oily or anything) would be great, possibly even better than pellets (depending on who you ask). If they only eat meat, do what he does in this video to try to get your arowanas to eat pellets.

I personally would rather the Arowana's eat fish over the chicken and beef meat.
Aro's can be finicky but can learn to except pellets if you have the patience.

Wrong! All those you mentioned are horrible long term for most fishes. Starve it, it’s an Arowana it’ll eat anything once it gets hungry to a certain point. Try floating pellets it helped mine.

I straved my jardini for 1 month and still not taking pellet. so I give in and just go with talipa since shrimp is messy now.

Some fish are more stubborn than others...
I was lucky with mine accepting pellets straight away.

It took me a few months to get my Jardini to accept pellets...Hikari carni sticks...via starvation & dried shrimp and krill with occasional night crawlers...good luck!

Never tried it myself but someone wrote on here if you soak pellets in frozen bloodworm juice it makes them more enticing for the fish. If it was me I'd not feed him for a week then give it a try.
