So after picking other members brains a bit I started adding plants to two of my tanks.

Second is my 75 gal with java fern, Anubis nana, and some java moss. Probably will move the java moss to another tank when the flame moss I ordered arrives.

First vid is my daughters tank with amazon sword, pothos, and an attempt at a java moss carpet. Not liking the sword may swap it for JF or Anubis. The tank is a work in progress still needs a back round and may switch to a cold water fish.

Plan on using flourish and excel just to give them a boost. Any tips or suggestions appreciated.

Good start! Now it's a waiting game then. I have to say planted tank does look boring first start but when you got hang with it and plants start to take off...you would love that feeling that you accompleted something :D then the next phase (might or might not happen to you) is that you will start focus on more plants than your fish LOL and then you might get rip any fish that cause or harmful to you plants and keep those fish plants friendly only...TBH! I spend more time to stare at my planted tank and happy when some plants spout out new leaf than looking at my fish...The best part is planted tank never need a water change and water is always crystal clear lol

My planted tank is 125G. I don't use any filters because right now I have only 5x Octos, 2x Cory Julli and 1x Royal Plecos (only use aquatop 700 circulation for water movement and eheim surface skimmer), I'm thinking to add few boesemani rainbow fish if I can find them in my LFS :D
