my Aussie Lung got sick "rotten fin"

i've keeping him for months with no problems
but i'm considered myself as the newbie for Aussie Lung

he got rotten after leaving him alone for two days
i don't know exactly what happened
he have no tankmates , but there are live ghost shrimp,supposedly for his food

what is the appropriate medications for him????
right now, i'm using the antibitic "quinolone",

please kindly recommend

Are you sure the ghost shrimps aren´t picking at his fins which may be the cause of the problem (bacterial or otherwise)?

Medicated baths for 20 min. once a day for 5 days. Use Melfix and Pimafix.
Don't let him sit continuously in a medicated tank!
You need to put him in a small hospital tank or a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone and make sure he doesn't jump out while medicating.
Also-use API stress coat with Aloe, this will help heal those areas.
