I'm new to the game and would like everyones opinion. It's 9 RBP in a 55g. Crazy how fast they are growing, Upgrade time soon!

very nice, but most member will tell you that 55g is not enough for 9 rbps. any plan down the road as they get larger?

I had did some reading that it would house them for awhile but it shakes down to a lot of different opinions and what you can do taking care of them wise. In my opinion I will have to upgrade will soon. At least to 180

you seem like youve done your research so congrats on the babies man! i have some as well. now im going to tell you what i would do if i were you.
i would take the babies out of the tank, save a good amount of the tank water. take all the gravel out of the tank but leave plants and decor. find a supply of live blackworms asap if you already havent. at that age if you feed them very well they crate alot of doo doo, so having your tank bare bottom will keep your water quality perfect. you have no detrius/food trapped in gravel wich will make youre water quality decline. if you do that and live blackworms a good portion 3-4 times a day your babies will grow very very fast and you should have no cannabilism at all.
