My baby bass dieing with eyes missing

I started a new tank with american chiclid tank with 4 peacock bass all my pb died but my american chiclids are fine wondering why is that???

Hello; Also it is common for a dead fish to be picked apart after it dies. The eyes get eaten out by other fish, snails or whatever. I have found essentially skeletons.

What size aquarium are they in?
What are the water parameters?
Was the aquarium fully cycled?
What specie are the other Cichlids?
What were the sizes of the Cichla and American Cichlid?

Please answer the questions above if you say no aggression then possible issue with the aquarium water.

Your aquarium may not be fully cycled . Ammonia,Nitrite should be zero and also should have a reading of sign of Nitrates.

The PB bass died because of levels of ammonia or nitrites.
