hello people im a newbie here. i bought my jardini aro this afternoon and i think she's (well for me she's a girl lol) beautiful. i put her in a 20 gallon for now and she's about 4". what do u guys think of her pictures? sorry for the wires i'll make a background for her tomorrow. thanks :)

cute jar. i saw one at my lfs and it's the same size as yours. looks damn tempting. i was going to pick it up but didnt' since they are so agressive and i want other fish in my tank hehe.. :headbang2 :D
 
yah im with ays on that one, jars are awesome fish if you like that agressive personality and a no tankmate setup. nice pickup

lol yea i was like that too. last week i went to my lfs and saw this one. she's lighter in color than others which made me like her more. then there's this guy (employee) who talked to my bf and told him that he will sell his jardini for much cheaper $50 for a big one about 6" i guess. but i still love this one and got this yesterday for $95. it may sound ridiculous that i went for the more expensive one but i don't have a much bigger tank yet (only 20 gallon) and i want myself to see her grow. :) thanks for ur reply
 
jars do grow fast, i mean real fast, ur gonna need a bigger tank within 3-4 months and on top of that, he's gonna need atleast a 180gal or bigger within a year. and if you liked how light it looked, you shoulda looked into a leichardti, same kinda body shape, way lighter, less agressive. still an awesome pickup
