Looking good, Strollo.
Good luck growing him. What will his grpwn up home be?

Right now he's in the 55, then he'll move to either the 125 or the 300. As of right now the 300 will be his final home (6x3) but I do have plans for a much larger tank within the next year where he'll probably end up. And thank god he's pretty relaxed. You had me nervous when you said he could jump during water changes lol

I would guess he has jumped out about 20 times in the year I had him. The stress of doing that hasn't slowed him down at all. He has eaten with cat hair still stuck to him. If I open a panel for any reason, he is right there to investigate. If you can make a feeding hole I would suggest it. I have had a jar and a silver and neither one ever touched the floor. One neat feature of these guys is barbel placement. He has never damaged his even though he is always banging into something. My silver was always breaking his. The jar did sometimes.

@Rodger- thanks for the advice. So far so good when I open the lid but if I see that change as he grows I'll have to figure something out.
@Jay- i'm really not lol. I tried a Jar and it got too aggressive and silvers never did anything for me. I've been waiting to get a Lei for a little while now so I'm hoping I don't kill him.

Nice pick up :) hopefully you won't get the aggregation you had with the jar there generally quite placid in comparison. my lfs are waiting for a couple of 5" ones to come in but its been a few weeks now so im guessing its a no go :(
My jardini used to jump out quite alot during wc's especially, im hoping my new one is slightly calmer its only 6" atm.
Good luck with him cant wait to see it growout :)
