you guys have heard me talk about it but i believe i am the only person here with a adult BP Texas cichlid because no one could show me a adult fishes photo on my last threads. so if you wanna stand up show me yo BP texas and show me i aint the only one. this is literally 1 min in his new home

the short body is from the blood parrot lol i am busting up laughing from your comment ^o^
 
oh yea he also has a red stomach in the right light is he gonna turn red? like RT red
 
Ed on here (Izzy_here) has developed a strain of short body escondido texas... so I think he's the sb texas OG here lol. I have nearly twenty of his fry, although they are only an inch or so long. I'll post some pics later... I was meaning to make a thread of my texas hybrids anyways but my camera is having issues
 
ok so this is almost bothering me is a short body the same as bp texas mix
 
and yea dude i wanna see some texas hybrids get yours posted up here itl make the thread even better lol
 
but this is what makes no sence its parents where a texas and a blood parrot and this guy was one of the ones that the guy didnt want because it never faded but got the short body ya know what im sayin.
texas color dominate but BP shape dominant. the guy was trying to get a SRT ya know. but yea just like you i wnt to breed this guy to a BP and hopfuly get the body and the pearls and the red

from what i saw out of this batch none had the parrot body just semi notch mouths at the most and only a had nice pearls and even less faded
I think you have a short body texas. I would consider it being a parrot x tex if the guy has proof of breeding i.e pics or vids of parents w/fry and updates of them growing out. Thats why whenever anything spawns in my fishroom I take pics or vids.to without a doubt know my fishes linage
