Really nice , i'm hoping to get 6 or 7 in the next couple of months , i hope they look has nice as yours .

what do you keep the ph of the tank at? im asking cus the african cichlids like a real high ph (rift valley lakes are 8.0+) and rbps are from the amazon which runs anywhere from 5.5 to 7.0 max...seems like an odd pairing.

before anyone says anything, i know alot of fish in the pet trade are usually comfortable in the 7.0-7.5 range but it still seems kinda crazy to keep africans and p's in the same tank.

nice rbps. are u going to make a shoal?

i hate you...iv been trying too find the type of fish i want too be my first fish...and though fish are so cool!! and ya what size tank is it? congrats on making the switch OK!

Ok my tanks are and have always been Tap water, no chemicals, no buffers nothing at all, and they have always been fine, i also have a 4foot full of larger Malawi chichlids and ive never had any problems

the tank is a 4foot tank as all 3 are the pirana and cichlids in the pic is partioned into 2 tanks,

NOTHING CAN BE KEPT WITH PIRANAHS from birth!!!!!
i had a turtle in there, a cory and a plec and some 2" Jewels All were attacked at some point, now its Piranas and nothing else dont ever thing you can keep something with piranas there just too nasty

I was wanting another 5 or 6 but after seeing how nasty they are, im sticking with 3 for now, i doubt they would let anything else into the tank with them anyway with piranah more is less!! :)

even at that age and size im still scared of putting my hand in the tank, where as putting my hand in my tank with 3 snakeheads im not bothered about at all!!! thats how scary they are

with the 1st pic you can see the Partitons, its great to watch the piranas watching the cichlids as tho there looking at there dinner

THE ONLY 1 THING THAT P'S CAN SHARE WITH ARE......
