Finally got my stand finished for my 6x2x2. Very proud of myself. The top is as level and even as i could have hoped for, spirit level bubble in the middle on all checks. Just wondering if i need a piece of polystyrene/carpet on top to sit the tank on or will it be fine like this. All screws well countersunk in the top ply.

If your tank has plastic trim round the bottom and underneath no you don't, if it doesn't you will need polystyrene
