my favorite RBP has very cloudy eyes!!! what do I do???? He is 8-9" and his eyes are very cloudy, plz help

no meds...raise the temp, and do 3 large water changes a week and it should be gone by 2 weeks

Cloudy eyes is a sign of poor water quality. Water changes of 40% 1x a week should take care of it if your dedicated to fixing the problem.

I would not advise salt if the water is already poor.

more water changes then once a week. you should be doing about a 40-50% water change with a vac once a week, then another 25% change in the middle of the week atleast. do one large change w/ the vac a week, then say like two 15% changes in the middle of that week until the cloudy eye is gone

test your water parameters, and up the water changes. keep nitrates under 20ppm.

dont think they would get cloudy eye from breeding, maybe an eye nip if thats the case.
