my bass update :)

well i scored these guys when they were about 5" or so from a LFS in guelph, and had a hard time getting them to eat my NLS so i figured i might as well get some food they fed them in the store, which was hikari carnivore sticks which they seem to absolutly LOVE...they starting to show there colours and spangles quite well now as well, they seem to get along very well with the ornate bichir, ID datnoid, 2 silver aro's, florida gar, BGK, too :)

here are pics of them abit over a month ago, i picked em up feb 17 and then i just took one pic here this morning of them

Sometimes it can be hard to switch bass over to nls from hikari because of the texture, but hikari makes quality pellets too. Good job beefing them up.

ya im hoping that they take or eat the nls once they get around the 10-12" mark easier for em to just swallow rather then chew em up.... it much cheaper to buy nls compared to hikari over here too, the pic i took today isnt them really full either somedays when they eat i think there stomach are going to explode lol darn pig i tell you hahaha.... hoping the gar takes pellets soon too, he only one in my tank that needs to eat talapia

yea they were labelled ocell's in the store and they looked like ocell in the store as well could have been cuz they were hiding in the pot, got em home and started looking at them after they settled in and thought man they look like tems, posted pics and sure enough everyone said there tems.... so i scored pretty good :) lol .. got 2 tems for the cost of ocell's which is like 1/3rd the cost of a tem around here

Haha same with my little tems! They were just labeled peacock bass so i picked up four for 10 usd lol and they usually go for 60 good score man!
