My male has been eating this for a little while now.I could not get him to eat the crickets and wax worms as well as my 2 females,so I tried given him some of what I give my savanah moniter.He really seems to like it.Is this ok?
My bearded likes raw fish and boiled chicken..

Well all foods you seem to be giving him are pretty much low calcium and fiber
It can have long term reprecusions however. I bet that you can make him eat the bugs again
. Let him starve for a day or 2 to make apetite. Then put in some crickets. Remenbar all foods must be gut loaded and every other feeding you should ad suplements to the feeders. Also you can give him dark leafy vegetables, things like mustard greens, water cress, chycory greens ,etc are ideal

I just read that fish and chicken protien is not the same as insect protien,which is the main source of the bearded's diet.I thought they would be the same.So I guess I better stop feeding him his chicken and fish,right?

Some don't. Especially if they get hooked on other goodies like grasshoppers, supers, roaches, phoenix, waxies, etc. Mine stopped eating crickets for awhile when she was addicted to supers.

So I can't buy them too often.
I try to hand feed him fruit,veggie's and his fish and chicken for a source of protein.I can't hand feed fim crickets,I tried and it didn't work.If I don't hand feed him he won't eat and he'll get all skiny.
I think I'm going to have to try and beg the wife again to let me start a roach farm..
