If you don’t mind me asking, Was he from a pet store or on line order? What size is your tank? What is your filtration and water change routine? What do you feed him? Sorry for so many questions. I have had a Cuban for a while and he doesn’t look as awesome as yours. Just curious about him
Well to answer your questions, I randomly found him at a pet store in my area for 10 bucks with about 100 half inch cubans and I picked him, raised him until he was about 5 inches in a 45 gallon( easier to do water changes in the beginning) I was running 2 fluval c4 filters I believe, then I upgraded him to a 5ft 120 gallon that he shares with a 4 inch driftwood catfish, I'm running an aquaclear 110 and a fluval 406 canister on the 120, as for food I was giving him big bites pellets for the first few months and then I switched to north fin cichlid pellets( which he loves lol)
