Using general assumptions from sexing other fish. Male from the fins and female from the body shape. Would lean towards female though from everything I've read. Rounded body, pinker belly, etc.
Tough to tell without venting. Congrats, you have a sharp colored fish, that's for sure. With mine about 4 years ago, I really underestimated the amount of red that this fish displays.
Very nice any pics of it when it was a juvi I think I may have one but not sure.
