I was in my LFS earlyer today and seen a dirty looking 4x2x2 120 sitting by the door so I asked the owner where it came from and he said a guy came in with it wanting to get rid of it, it had a broken centerbrace and the seals are leaking. I asked him what he was going to do with it and he said he didnt have time to mess with it, so I asked him how much he would take for it and to my suprise he said $40, i paused for like a minute (i guess i was in shock) and i told him i would take it but I didnt have a way to get it home at the time. He told me he could deliver it tomorrow so of course I agreed. My only concern is finding a top frame for it, its made of 1/2 glass so im not sure what manufactor of frame I would need or if I would need a top brace at all with that thick of glass. Any input is appreciated.

Go to the local glass shop and ask if they can cut you a piece of glass for the center brace. Did that once for a 125gal. As for needing a center brace, better be safe then sorry.

It has the plastic trim on the top and bottom but the top center brace is gone. Not sure how it would work with no plastic trim with glass eurobracing.
