I grabbed some pictures with my itouch (hence the quality) when cleaning this morning.

What type of plant is that, Id like to get a plant in my bettas tank

Thanks. :) He's just a normal veiltail that I saw at one of the lfs but he has developed pretty nicely. The plant is a red cedar tree. Its in a jar in the center of the bowl. Its got kind of a cool back story.

My fiance and I took my Dad to pay his utility bill back in Feb. He was really sick so he stayed in the car with his sister while my fiance and I went in. The forestry people were giving away free saplings wrapped in wet newspaper. So we grabbed three of them. My Dad was stoked to see them especially since he knew the trees would be in my future yard and he got to see that much of our new place at least. Since we are still land scaping we have been growing the trees in jars still. One is in the mud/musk turtle tank, the other the largest at 18" is in the guest bathroom, and the third is in the tank with the betta. All three will get planted in the yard early next spring. :) So I can honestly say these are some of the easiest trees I've grown. Just add water, the occasional poo-enriched over spill, and sunlight and you get really pretty plants. Next I'm trying bald cypress though.

Thanks. :) Here is another shot of him. IMG_0767.JPG
