My crown tail betta isnt much to look at any more because he lost a good portion of his flares in a breeding attempt gone wrong(live and learn) but he cool anyways. Also some other pics of my sharks and my tank at night(oh and to clarify nothing in my tank is pink, in the night pics my orange floral looks pink, how annoying, manly tank of sharks reduced to that...lol) well enjoy what little pics i have.

ill get the picture thing down soon enough(trial and error)
anyways the betta stand is actually just a pewter vase stand, the bowl was seperate. you can find cool things like this at pier-one or other places that sell home decor stuff. That's the nice things about bettas, you dont need an actual fish supplies, just get creative. The one in the picture is around $25, and the bowl was a $1. Hope that helps and thanks for the feedback, and ill work on my pictures.later:grinno:

That Beta stand is awesome looking, ive never seen one like that before.

Bettas need a heater and filtration just like any other tropical fish.

No, they dont....persay. You do, however, have to do partial water changes twice a week to maintain a fish in a bowl without filtration. As far as a heater to keep the tropical fish at a proper temp, it is all about location in your home and how warm you keep your home. By this i mean you should not place the bowl where the draft from a window or door can flux the temp. And, i think, it is easier to maintain the constant temp and ph levels in a tank with filtration and a heater, but to keep your Bettas happy and healthy it isnt necc., but is helpful. Also note that you must be precise in your water temps during your water changes, so you dont shock your bettas. Any other questions please dont hesitate to ask.Thanks.

You like that...I stumbled on it at pier-one...It originally had a tall glass vase on it ment for poppurri(i know I spelled poppurri wrong), anyways i think it looks better as a Betta stand. Well anyways, thanks for the complement. Later.

awesome find then! they really should make stands like that.

so now you just need to start going around finding good deals on pewter stands and on fish bowls and you could sell them as betta stands...you could be rich!:D
