ok well i have a 4 foot tank(will be largver as they grow, it was free) with a single senegal bichir 4in and i just got a 3.5in black ghost knife. at first they seemed to be fine with them showing little intrest in each other but after a while the bichir seems to be getting a little nippy with the knife. think it will go away or should i put the knife in my other 4 foot community tank? i really would like them to both live in the same tank but not at the risk of loosing the bgk.

so any personal experiance mixing them?

should i go ahead and buy one of those over priced clear plastic tubes? cus the only hiding spot is the bichirs driftwood, even though when he was nippy it wa in the middle of the tank

anyway just looking for some opinions.

dont worry, senegals are not dangerous to black knife, because senegals wont grow big enough to harm the black knife, but if you are keeping ohter bichirs also, please beware!
my delhezi has eaten 4 black knives already:popcorn:....they are really some expensive feeder fish:irked:

ok thats reasuring. yea i can barley afford the 8 bucks for bloodworms much less 20 for a single meal lol.

yea it would just be the one senegal, but right not he's got an inch or two on the bgk so im affraid of him nipping at the bgk and stressing him to death
