Hello,

i've posted pics of my bichire here and there ... it's time to give this action a bit more system.
So i will make my bichir collection visible in one thread - with a portrait pic and a full-body pic (if i have one).

Okay, let's start with my 200 l tank:

I love all of them! The first senegal pic makes it look like a snakehead LOL

btw uwe, are you gonna be a public speaker at one of the coming MFK conventions?

thats a great looking collection of bichirs! i saw your thread in the photo lounge but im still amazed. i love you delhezi and tuegsli btw

Hello Onion01,

indeed - Polypterus weeksi looks a bit like a snakehead with his enourmous head. His behaviour in feeding is very similar ...
Can you explain the "public speaker"-thing? I'm living in Germany thousands of miles away from US ...

Hello Razman,

right, a couple of pics i had posted in the Photo Lounge, some new are here. As I've said: Here's a good place for bichir pics too!

Hello CichlidAddict,

Thank You!!!

I really love photographing - it's vice versa my profession doing virtual reality for industrial needs ... making these pics (and others in the nature) is a bridge back to reality and nature.
I hope i will be able to buy a high-end camera in nearer future. To this day i make pics with a CANON PowerShot A400 (the sharper ones) and a NIKON CoolPix5700 (a camera with many features but less sharpness). I hope the new equipment will combine the best of both worlds - and it will be a SLR ...
Enough of technique now ...

I will continue this thread with more pics in the future ...

Greetings

Uwe

there is going to be some convention here, and one of the public speakers is called Uwe. I thought it was you LOL

Hello Onion01,

the same name - but not the same person. I've thought "Uwe" is a unorthodox name in the US?

Greetings

Uwe
