My Big Catch

I went bass fishing in a farm pond up the road from my house. This was all I caught... The funny thing about the newts is they rarely get hooked, they just don't want to let go of the worm!

Seems like it's still too early, water was unusually clear and pretty darn cold.

Didn't measure it, but I would guess 9" tip-to-tip. It was bigger than average.

Good idea, the farmer wouldn't miss a few chunks.

They are supposed to be pretty toxic, and they stink!

I might have to enter it next month...
