i know they were hungry cuz i changed the feeding times from twice a day to 3 times a week since there all bigger now. but they love to show that there hungry inbetween feedings. today they were all over the place and very active so i thought to myself "is my temp to high?" didn't wanna lift the glass cuz they woulda thought i was gonna feed and they go crazy when i feed, so i stuck my finger in an opening in the back of the tank to feel the water comin in from the sump and SPLASH. big guy grabbed onto my finger but quickly let go, nothin major but it did break skin and i was bleeding for a good 10 mins.
moral of the story, arowanas DO have upper teeth to grab onto the food b4 they lunge forward to actually eat it, and do not stick ur finger in an opening to feel ur water when ur big guys are hungry!
