Wolf looks like it could possibly be what ray sells as intermedius. And we've got a similar taste in fish lol

So u know ray, yea i hit him last year , he said look like the big one he sold way back, lol, got it from one lfs for free, they called me n said come get this fish out my shop ok It had bad curl gill on both sides from last owner, now much improve

Yea, I always had doubt bout what he sells as intermedius. He sold That big one to Vince, he has another in now labeled intermedius. My issue with the ID from what I remember is intermedius is in the lacerdae group which have to have the U shape folds on the under jaw, the wolves don't. But regardless they're beautiful fish imo. Maybe not beautiful in the way the word is usually used lol. And that's cool, wish my lfs would do that to me. Been going to the same place for maybe 10 years now even worked there for a few months when they needed someone.
