My pair bred two days ago. The eggs hatched yesterday. It took 24 hours to hatch. There are about 200 fry swimming around. The male and female are both around 7 inches. This is their first time breeding. Dad is busy collecting fry at the moment.

They are in the tank by themselves. I had to pull out 5 other pulchras a few days before the spawn. There was a lot of fighting, and I have one really injured fish that's recovering.

Fry are now 1 cm in length. They are starting to use up their egg sacs.
