I did not do this myself, it was done by professionals, cost too much, and I love it to death. Took 2 weeks from scratch, only thing there before was the two retaining walls.

about 3.5 feet in the middle deepest area, and about 2 feet in the shalow ends on the end where the lilies are.

Not yet, it's a concrete pond, for about a month or so it needs to work the crap out of it. PH is about 2 right now because it's curing. After that, we'll see.

I HATE koi and goldfish, stupid creatures. So I am thinking a turtle or two and maybe some flagfish to eat algae and mosquito fish to eat the larva. The pond is big enough where they can establish a population and an occasional snack by the turtle will still be ok. Plus there are a lot of hiding spots.

Nah, will probably get something nice and safe that does not get too big and is Cheap. Kids want a turtle, gotta give 'em something.
