Guys I want to share my Black and Green Arowana.
The Black arowana is the newest addition in the Community, the tea colored 90gal com-tank is housing the ff: fishes.
Malaysian Green Arowana, x3 palm size Indo Tigers, x4 thumb size Indo Tigers, x2 1'' Indo Tigers, x2 Northern Thailand Tigers, a pair of Motoro Sting ray, x5 Mono angel fish, x1 8" banded dragon fin, x1 8" albino dragon fin, x1 4" Blood Red Oscar, x1 3" Green Terror, x1 4" Flower Horn (Red sub) and x1 Pictus Catfish all living in harmony with each other.
The Original Cast of the 90gals which was transferred to my 130 gal Octagon tank includes the ff: x1 14" arapaima, x1 12" aligator Gar, x1 10" Spotted Gar, x1 15" Royal Knife fish, x3 Knife fish, x4 9" Red Pacu, x3 Black Oscar, x1 7" Albino Oscar,x5 4"Janitor Fish, x2 4" hi fin pleco,x2 snake head, x5 3" Silver dollar, x1 5" black Sturgeon and x1 10" red tail Catfish.
I transfered these fishes to protect the arowana from itself. Why? Every time the Arapaima gets agitated, everyone goes berserk and the arowana panics itself to the point that it jumps and hits the aquarium braces. They dont kill each other but whenever they panic, they hurt themselves.
The solution for the meantime is to revive my 130gals aquarium and put the others there while im having a bigger aquarium built.
the specs that I am looking at is 8ft (10ft. if my wife will allow) x 4ft x 3ft. this will house all the monster that I have including the soon to follow Red Tail Golden that I am praying to get.
Here are a few shots of the 2 beauties!
