also how long before they grow from 3 inches to 7 inches?

They should get larger than 9" I believe, probably one of the larger silvers. Snails, romane lettuce, peas, cucumber, earthworms, mysis shrimp, and so on. Just give them a varied diet. They should grow pretty fast for you. I have bleeding heart silvers, and thats what I feed them...;).

Only have two of them at the moment cuz i can't find any more anywhere...but oh well. Great fish! Would love to see a 300 + gal tank FULL of silver dollars! :D I can get some 6" Red Hooks for $22 a pop, that sound about right?

That would be how much in American currency? LOL!

I don't really wanna mix the different silver species if possible, love the bleeding hearts. Although some black bars would be appreciated! :D

Mine get mostly cichlid excel (veggie based pellets) although they will eat ANYTHING else.

Hi, these are not silver dollars. They emperor red hooks and they are much more expensive than silver dollars!

Nice collection over there!
