I was in the fish room feeding and working on my sponge filters and I noticed that my black calvus breed. Little babies swimming around. They were tiny. I bought some comp caves at ACA from the plecocaves and apparently it is exactly what I needed. They spawned today. I will post pictures and updates as soon as possible.

Awesome! These are one of my all time favorite fish. Please post pics of the pair! Did you raise them from baby's? If you did it must have been painful waiting for them to mature.

Hey Mike,

Congrats on the spawn.. from what I've heard/read, they can be a tough nut to crack, requiring a ton of patience.

BTW, it was good meeting you at ACA. I was one of the CCA guys that was hitting you up on callochromis and general Tang advice. Hope to see you soon. :)
