i have a crazy mix... i wanted him in the upstairs tank... and it worked out... he is with 4 clown loaches, 2 tetras, raphel cat and common pleco and one............................. african cichlid that was his buddy in the original tank... haha..

It looks like he's napping. His eyes looked closed. Maybe he's emulating the creature habbits his owner. The old "leadership by example" routine. (JK)
He really looks healthy and has a good size to him. How old is he? Is he a slow grower?

yes quite often we take naps together...i snooze on the couch across from him... he puts me in gaga land... after i stare at him awhile.. they can be fast growers in the very beginning and then it slows down.. he is quite large for this species.. infact i would like to see some as big or bigger... he is about 7 years old now..

thanks everyone.... it is strange how none of these fish would ever meet up with each other in the wild..but all get along ..even the small tetras... lol..
