Well I had bought 400 Dubia from BlapticaDubia.com back on the 1st of Febuary. They have started to mature now and and are even breeding. I have about 50 mature males and 150 mature females, with about another 200 on their way to maturity. I'm also now on my second generation, they are mosty nymps and medium size. I want to start feeding now but not sure it's the right time yet?

Is the ratio at it's point were I can start to feed em off, or do I need to wait longer?

I feed my dubia to 3 bearded dragons btw.

I'd wait until you have at least 500 adults but that's just me. You can start feeding off a few of the males and nymphs if you want to.

Yeah I was thinking to wait till I have around that many too, but I noticed I had too many males. I have 50 mature males and only 100 mature females with more large nymps about to mature in a matter of weeks. I don't want to throw my male to female ratio off. But yeah, feeding off some males won't hurt right?

You'll be fine to feed a few males. I have about a 1:4 male to female ratio in my colony. I don't feed any of the females to my herps.

Yeah, I just feed my beardie's like 6 of them, they won't be missed. The beardies really love em though. I could throw tons crickets in there and they won't even look at them.

On a side note, is okay to feed your beardie's scrambled eggs?
