I decided it was feeding time for my fish this afternoon, and upon closer inspection of the tank I realized that my 3"ZZxFestae had dug itself a pit in the gravel and was surrounded in eggs. I am not sure if they will turn out, nor am I sure which one of the two is male. The BP trades places with the ZZxFestae every few minutes. THe real killer is that they laid the eggs in the gravel under a fake stump, and inside the fake stump is a female convict that just laid eggs... so lets just say that bunk breeding = bad idea...

Lets EVERYONE CROSS OUR FINGERS THAT THE EGGS MAKE IT!

I will attempt to get pics of the happy couple but wiht my evo pics are never good.

I am from Lapeer county. As for the hybrid, she was a petco rescue. met the ppl as they were taking the fry into petco to donate, and I took her home in a McDonalds cup lol.

it looks like my male BP is infertile. 80% of te eggs have turned white. but i can still cross my fingers that one or two make it right?

From what I have heard male parrots can be fertile, it is just very very very unlikely. The female ate the eggs today. So now I get to hunt down a male anything to breed with my festaehorn
