My blood parrot thinks it's a pitbull, is that normal behaviour?

I've owned some very aggressive cichlid fish. I mean terribly aggressive, but the blood parrot I have is just appalling, behaviour wise. It destroys everything, from plants to decorations.

It's about 4 inches long, and looks like this:

12 Volt Man is right on. I once had a 5" kkp that literally had his five kkp bros hiding in corners 24/7

Moved him to my arowana tank and he spent the first 48 hrs. chasing a 8" new guinea tiger non stop.

The crazy part was this ngt was the bully of the tank, and could'nt handle the smaller parrot. :screwy:

I had 6 BP together with tankmates for a while. Mine had a pack mentality. If one was being picked on the others would gang up on the one doing the picking. Sometimes beating him to death. I have one large BP now in a 180g with gars and polys and she holds her own for sure. I think they have a grudge against what man did to them..:ROFL:
