My blue crayfish has come a long way...

My lil girl on 3/11 (about an 1 1/2", not including claws)






Now her as of today (6/6) (my attempt at measurement was 5 1/2 inch not including claws, but it could be off)

So how is my growth rate on this girl? Will she continue to grow this fast?

Looks great! How many molts has she gone through? My blue has shown similar growth to about that size and has slowed significantly and hasnt molted in about 3 months. Good luck with the growth!

i've seen only 2 molts so far, but there could be more. last molt i saw was a couple weeks ago. I'm pretty sure its a Cherax quadricarinatus

Crays are freaken awesome!!! I used to have one just like that.. It's so nice that they aren't picky eaters...

this girl would eat my finger if i let it. at the same time though, she's very friendly. during the day my clown loaches all huddle around her in her little cave.

no problem. I have a bigger female who lives in my sump (long story) and she isn't nearly as "personable" as this one i raised from a baby. This one gets all excited and will eat from my hand. the other one just doesn't like me at all.

No, she. Just kept escaping and always finds her way into the sump, so I decided to just let her live there.
