I love these guys figured I would take pics of them! I know they r young if anyone has any ideas on sex that would be great. And should I be worried that the big one is getting dark?

they are so beautiful..

I might have a few in the far future

Usually darker color indicates stress in cichlids when one is dominant over another. Just be sure there are plenty of caves and that they both get enough to eat.

I know I can't sex EBJD's so I won't even try. But you can't get living young from two EBJD anyway so it's sort of irrelevant unless you're just trying to name them.

Agreed that they are too young. Young EBJDs go in and out of color. If it stays dark, I might be a bit concerned. Otherwise, I would not worry. EBJDs are one of my favorites too.
