i was at a surprise today that my red dragon and the shortbody was getting it on today. :headbang2

i saw eggs today. but the male ate the eggs

is it natural for that to happen when they breed first time? and also how long will it take for them to breed 2nd round

Depending on the female as early as 2-3 weeks.

young fish like to eat the eggs and it is common for the first batch to get eaten.

hmm ok. the female short body is like 2 inches and is already laying eggs. kinda suprised by it.

i was amazed at how small all cichlids are able to breed. especially texas and cons.

yea its very unexpected the female is about 1.5-2 inches and laying eggs
