my bowfin

here is my bowfin. grew pretty slow got him around 7 inches and is now 12-13

hows his agression, people tell me there like snakeheads, but when i had a bowfin he didnt bother anything.

they're both ambush predators, not agressive nippers.

another pic, he use to get chased by my larger black pike but now he ocassionally chases the the big sa cichlids in there but not very often. i dont think there no were near as aggressive as snakeheads.

what tank is he in, your 180g? he is really cool. if i had the space a bowfin would be one of my first choices to put in it.

ya the 180. hes in there with a large arow,jag,butti,trimac,blackbelt,stingray,ornate bichir and soon to be more sa cichlids as i move them from the 150 into the 180 but so far the bowfin is taking the transition well.
