Belly shot of my CB male Henlei or at least that is what he was sold as. I think he is a leo/hen myself beings he is jet black and has really white spots at 12". His claspers are already starting to grow which I am shocked at this size, that is another reason I think he has leo in him. I have not seen any mature male hens under 14"

Great looking ray Mike, love its uniform spots.
Probably is LeoxHen, a pure Hen usually has numerous spotting to the underside, looks like its taken on the Leo trait regarding its belly pattern or lack of it.

Agreed that it appears to be a leo x hen. All of my leos matured close to that size. All of my hens matured or are maturing much slower (15" and way less adequate LOL). Also, as you pointed out, his black is quite black with the bright white spots and the belly patterning. Regardless, awesome black ray!
