Hi, does all Blood parrot love to dig into sand? My 55G has a 2" sand and my biggest BP keep digging the sand until the bottom. Is it normal for BP? I hate to keep even out the sand or plant back my plant.....any advise?

I laid a thin layer of sand then landscape rocks then 2" or so of sand and that helps out a lot. They can only dig so far down and easy to fill the holes.
