My 4" BP has finally snapped. In the course of two days it killed two gold barbs and two danios. Needless to say, I've since removed the others. When I did a water change yesterday, I got bit HARD twice. Not the curious nips, but the grab-on-and-shake type.

I'm kind of thrilled about it. Still not sure on gender.

Here are pics of the offender:

mine were evil. would go for anything and everything. i got bitten everytime i did a water change.

I've had several larger BPs before and they became aggressive during spawning, but this one acts like a little Red Devil, always attacking its reflection and darting around the tank. I'm used to being attacked during spawning, so I looked for eggs, but there aren't any. Just plain aggression!

could it be horny for some sexy time. but has no parter to do the naughties to so its angry lol

I want to buy it a mate (there are gorgeous solid orange males and females at the LFS) but I can't determine this one's gender yet.

Charlie, my BP does the exact same thing. He even attacks the vacuum. When I scrub the tank down with the algae scrubber he goes nuts attacking it. He also has these fits of rage once in a while where he will hike his fins up attacking the decorations, the side of the tank, the gravel, it's hilarious. Then he stops like nothing happened.

Beautiful BP by the way.

I know, I'm not interested in spawning, just to get it a tankmate. I've had 2 BP pairs in the past and they were extremely bonded to each other.
