my brandnew channa gachua setup

what you say? I did install it today. I´ll get a group of channa gachua in 3 weeks then.

thank you very much. The pics were taken just 10 minutes after i filled the water in. So forgive the blurry water and all those bubbles on the glass.

My plan is to buy 4 channa. When pair found together i´ll catch out the remaining two. I know that channa gachua are very nasty sometimes and that even a pair of them that lived in harmony for months can suddenly start a fight. Because of that i added that large piece of driftwood in the center, so they can hide from each other.

i'm not familiar with this snakehead species, how big do they get and what do they look like

Hi,

add lots more of wooden cover in the back of the tank, and look out for cork bark tubes. Where in Germany are you located ? There is a good channa scene here.

thank you. They are very interesting. The male and female care both for their fry. And they even feed them. The female produces eggs just to feed them to her young.
